YORK-based healthcare property specialist HPC has announced the sale of Somerset Nursing Home in Wheldrake.
The 43-bed home had operated as part of Yorkshire-based Roche Healthcare, and has now been acquired by national provider Country Court Care Group.
Sold together with an adjacent house, Somerset Home also includes a small development of retirement bungalows.
HPC director Ian Wilkie said: “Roche Healthcare is a respected provider with homes across Yorkshire and with whom we have worked for many years. We are delighted to have concluded the sale of Somerset Nursing Home, which we believe represents an excellent acquisition.”
Patrick Roche, director of Roche Healthcare, said: “I would like to thank all the staff at Somerset for their hard work and dedication. I am very proud of the quality of care and I’m confident that Country Court Care will maintain this.”
Country Court now has 30 sites.
