A SALON in York has been relaunched with a new look, new name, and unique new musical feel.
Singer Jess Steel has run Innovations in Boroughbridge Road for 14 years, employing seven staff.
The salon has now undergone a rebrand, reopening as Rock The Barnet, with the name, the décor and the record player, following the musical theme
As York’s biggest rock luminary, Shed Seven frontman Rick Witter, cut the ribbon, Ms Steel said: “The new image is something I’ve always wanted to do.
“Music has always played a huge part in my life and I’ve loved being able to bring that inspiration into the salon.”
A relaunch party is being held on July 21 at Pitcher & Piano in York, raising money for St Leonard’s Hospice.
