AN EMPTY shop in Fossgate has been let to a watch and jewellery retailer.
Acting on behalf of the Company of Merchant Adventurers of the City of York, Barry Crux & Company is pleased to announce completion of the letting of 37 Fossgate.
The ground floor retail unit, part of a Grade II listed building was previously rented by luciousbook.
It will be taken over by the watch and jewellery retailer Silver Lining York.
Barry Crux and company said it is positive news for the street, and the city, to have a vacant unit occupied once again.
"Silver Lining York Ltd, already operate a number of retail units throughout Yorkshire.
"The business has been let off an asking rent of £9,250 per annum and we look forward
to seeing their new shop open very soon."
