ESTATE agency Your Move Anscombs in York has been shortlisted to the top 12 of a national Franchisee of the Year award.
Scott Anscomb has been nominated by Your Move, which has more than 300 offices nationally.
His York branch, in King's Square, has already been the Your Move's top sales office for the past two years running.
As finalist in the British Franchising Association's awards, he is up against a number of big franchise names, such as McDonalds, Pitman Training and Threshers wine merchants.
Scott said: "It is a bit nerve-racking because on July 25 we have to make a presentation at the headquarters of sponsors HSBC in London's Canary Wharf in front of Sir Bernard Ingham, the former adviser to Maggie Thatcher, who is chairman of the British Franchising Association.
"But I am confident, because customer focus is central to the awards theme, and I know that my team of 14 strive to achieve that brilliantly."
