HARROGATE Spring premium bottled water has won a prestigious industry award for the third year running.

Marketing manager Nicky Cain was presented with the top gold award for taste from the British Bottlers’ Institute, following previous gold awards in 2014 for packaging and 2015 for taste and packaging.

She said: “We are very proud of Harrogate Spring and to receive another gold award from the BBI is a great honour.

“Harrogate Spring is sourced from a protected conservation area. It has become naturally enriched with minerals over hundreds of years and is characterised by its exceptionally clean and well-rounded taste.”

“Its balanced mineral composition and neutral pH level provide an optimum, ‘refreshing’ drink with no chalkiness. It does not cloud the palate which makes it perfect for pairing with food.”

Harrogate Spring is the UK’s original bottled water and is the official water of England Cricket, Ascot Racecourse and Royal Ascot. The first mineral spring in Harrogate was discovered in 1571 by Queen Elizabeth’s physician and it was first bottled in 1740.
