A YORK brand design agency has celebrated its growth by moving to a new home in the city’s most famous street.

LazenbyBrown has secured and developed a bigger, brighter new studio space in Shambles that accommodates its growing team. This year it has added new clients to its impressive roster, including York Minster, Ashtons Estate Agency, Rushbond PLC, and Fera/Capita.

The agency recently teamed up with long-term collaborator and website developer Mike Harding as director of digital to extend its digital services to businesses across the region.

Mr Harding will be leading its vision to provide a suite of high-quality in-house digital services for new and existing clients, including website design, development, optimisation and digital marketing services.

He said: “LazenbyBrown work with some of the best clients in and around the UK across many different sectors. It was a natural move for us to come together to provide a seamless digital service for these clients, who appreciate being able to access award-winning design, cutting-edge website development, and a raft of other digital services all in one place, cutting out the fuss and complication of dealing with multiple suppliers.”

“We are already in an era where almost all organisations have some sort of presence on the web. The new challenge for many begins after they get online.

“How do they compete in intelligent ways, how do they stay relevant and visible, how do they tell their story as it unfolds, how do they squeeze every last drop from their marketing efforts. LazenbyBrown now have these skills in-house, along with the tools and experience to solve these problems, measure the results, and continuously optimise the process.”

“Our digital team is already growing. Jake joined us in June and has brought his digital marketing skillset and expertise. We have plans to bring two more people into the team before Christmas. It’s a fantastic opportunity for talented students to work in the centre of York’s creative digital sector.”
