A YORK businesswoman has had her book shortlisted for a US award.
Jacky Fitt, who runs York-based marketing agency The Big Ideas Collective, has been nominated in the marketing category for the 2015 Small Business Book Awards for her book How To Get Inside Someone’s Mind And Stay There.
The US-based Small Business Book Awards celebrate the best business books that appeal to entrepreneurs, small business owners, chief executives, managers and their staff.
Ms Fitt said: “I’m really proud. I certainly didn’t expect it and it’s wonderful to be making an impact when you feel you have something valuable to say.
“I know that if it wasn’t for my clients I wouldn’t have written it, so it’s a tribute to them and their experiences too.”
The awards are a judged competition, with a judging panel set to determine the winners alongside community voting for a people’s choice winner.
