Writer, broadcaster and feminist Germaine Greer will be the guest speaker at a lunch to mark International Women’s Day in Leeds.
Ms Greer will talk about how women still find it difficult to find their rightful place in the world 40 years after publication of her best-selling book The Female Eunuch.
Also speaking at the event, organised by the business support group Forward Ladies, will be Karyn McCluskey, co-director of the Scottish Violence Reduction Unit and author and journalist Lady Kishwar Desai who campaigns for women's rights in India.
The lunch takes place at The Leeds Club on March 7. For more information go to forwardladies.com
