A PET care expert from York has warned some leading dog goods could harm canine health because of their hidden ingredients.
Loretta Spyers-Ashby, of Wigginton-based Doggie & Moggie, said sugar, salt, colouring, some grains and unspecified animal derivatives may trigger food intolerances and recurring health issues in dogs, in the same way they can affect humans.
