A YORK print and marketing business has launched a new line as it plans to expand.

The £33 million turnover Mosaic Group, which employs 112 people at its offices in Wetherby Road, Long Marston, near York, has opened Mosaic POP, which develops point-of-purchase (POP) materials, such as retail displays, digital and field marketing, which includes distributing marketing literature and merchandise.

Joint managing partner of Mosaic POP Lisa Williams, who runs the new division with Ian Carnazza, said: “We have got big ambitions for growth over the next 12 months. At the moment, we’re building our portfolio and have had lots of interest from new clients.”

She said they had a small business approach, backed with the large buying power of the Mosaic Print Management business, the group’s largest business, enabling them to target smaller brands which would benefit from big-agency know-how, and larger clients wanting more responsive customer service. Mosaic Group also acquired two creative and digital agencies last year and has a 70,000 sq ft distribution centre at its York House premises.

The new division links together Mosaic Group’s related disciplines of marketing strategy and creative, print management and fulfilment, said Tony Gill, chief executive of Mosaic Group.

He said: “We’ve had our eye on the POP sector for a while. Lisa and Ian are the final pieces of the jigsaw.”
