What job would you like to have other than your own and why?

I’d love to be a video game designer, it’s such a varied and competitive industry, I’d love to be a part of that. To be part of a team that built something like Bioshock (or Super Bomberman!) would be incredible.

Greatest achievement?

I think building a company that has already gone so far, so quickly. When I was writing up the plan, not in my wildest dreams did I think Edge45 would have taken off like it has. I sometimes sit back and think where I was say two years ago, both professionally and as a person, and it can pretty hard to believe it’s all happened.

What makes you most angry?

Oh this is easy – it’s when people don’t try. If you haven’t even given something a shot, don’t say you can’t do it or you don’t like it. How do you even know?

Biggest mistake?

Looking back I think I beat myself up a lot about not having my life worked out after leaving education. I spent way too much time being hard on myself at a young age. I think this is a mistake that a lot of people make as there’s a lot of pressure on people to “have it all”.

Why do you make a difference?

That’s a tough one. I tend to make that difference by working. I know that if we have to compete or get something big done quickly, I can make it happen or outwork others, so that, I suppose.

What do you need to make life complete?

Health, love and money. All at the same time.

Epitaph

It’s never too late.
