CABINLOCATOR Ltd began as a company that specialised in second-hand portable buildings that had been refurbished.

Established in 2010, its brands have developed from a long-established husband and wife company into a hub for the development of warehousing and shelter in the construction industry.

ShelterIt is a brand of steel-framed PVC fabric membrane structures, which provides a place for businesses and workers to operate in dry conditions, were brought to market by business founders James and Fiona in 2015.

The range expanded into Container Canopies: steel-framed PVC fabric membrane canopy structures that allowed customers to expand their storage space by using two shipping containers and creating a roof between them.

In April 2017, the company - now vying for Small Business and Family Business of the Year - needed to expand the workforce, so their son Will Pindard joined the team.

Within six months, Will had learnt the product and sales pitch from his dad back to front, built a beautiful new website and taken on the role of development, sales and marketing.

Additional revenue and job opportunities will be created over the coming years with a new brand that the firm has begun to market: TotalSpan buildings, which will provide a semi-permanent or permanent alternative to the PVC Fabric temporary buildings that the firm currently supply.
