We have made this Order to prohibit any public access along public footpaths 10.175/10/1 Yearsley in Hambleton and 25.40/5/3 Gilling East in Ryedale between grid reference SE59577595 and SE59537585 for a temporary period of 6 months commencing 02/02/18 due to a flood damaged culvert crossing requiring replacement. This Order follows Emergency Notice 005 dated 11/01/18. The closure period will be indicated by traffic signs & a local alternative route will be signed on site where appropriate. North Yorkshire County Council intends to make this Order to revoke 'North Yorkshire County Council (Temporary Prohibition Of All Motor Vehicles) (Unclassified Road To South Of Marske Beck, Helwith) Order 2017 No 440' with effect from 12/02/18.

Temporary Prohibition of Traffic, Unclassified Road to South of Marske Beck, Helwith, Order 2018, No. 53

We intend to make this Order to prohibit any vehicle from using the unclassified road which leads south-eastwards from the junction immediately to the south of Marske Beck at Helwith. The prohibition will apply from this junction (Grid Reference 407390 502840) south-eastwards to 'Munn End Gate' (Grid Reference 407980 502420) an approximate distance of 770 metres (subject to access to premises or land adjacent to the road for activities in connection with agriculture, land management or shooting), between 12/02/18 & 11/08/19. The Prohibition is being introduced so as to protect the road from further damage. The period of Prohibition will only apply as indicated by the placing of traffic signs.
