Notice of application to vary a Premises Licence under Section 34 of the Licensing Act 2003
Notice is hereby given that Everyman Media Li mited in respect of premises to be known as Everyman Cinema, Blossom Street, York,YO24 1AJ, applied to City of York Council for a Variation of a Premises Licence. The proposed variation is to extend the sale of alcohol on Monday to Saturday from the current hours of 11:00 to midnight to the proposed hours of 11:00 to 02:00 the following morning and on Sunday from the current hours of 12:00 to 22:30 to the proposed hours of 12:00 to 02:00 the following morning. The proposed variation is to seel approval of the proposed alterations to the premises detailed in the plan submitted with the application.The alterations comprise of the following: To provide new bars and service counters within the existing Ground Floor and First Floor foyer spaces; A full refurbishment of screens 1-4; and Screen 5 is being converted to form a 36 cover 'Speilburger' restaurant. To amend condition 6 of Annex 2 in relation to screen capacities to read as follows: "The authorised seating capacity of the premises shall be: Screen 1 - 192, Screen 2 - 51 plus 2 disabled spaces, Screen 3 -51 £lus 2 disabled spaces, Screen 4-20".Any representations by an interested party or responsible authority regarding the above-mentioned application must be received in writing by Licensing Services, City of York Council, Eco Depot, Hazel Court, York, YO10 3DS, no later than 18 December 2017 stating the grounds for objection.The register of City of York Council and the record of the application may be inspected at the address of the council, given above, during normal

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application. The maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction for the offence is unlinked.
