Notice of Application for the Variation of a Premises Licence
Take notice that on: 26th September 2013

Made application to the City of York Council for the
variation of a Premises Licence at the following premises:
44 Shambles, York YO1 7LX
The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with the City of York Council Licensing Section (Tel: 01904 552512) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, YorkYO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Representations to this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Services, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York YO10 3DS. Representations must be received by no later than 25th October 2013 being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made.
Summary of Proposed Variations
1. Changing the times the Licence authorises the carrying out of licensable activities by

(1) extending the hours for the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises from 12.00 - 21.00 (Monday to Saturday) and 12.00 - 20.40 (Sundays) to 09.00 - 23.00 (Monday to Saturday) and 09.00 - 22.00 (Sundays) and

(2) extending the hours for the playing of recorded music from 09.00 - 21.00 (Monday to Sunday) to 09.00 - 23.00 (Monday to Saturdays) and 09.00 - 22.00 (Sundays)

2. Extending the licensable activities authorised by the Licence to include the supply (from the shop at the front of the premises on the ground floor) of alcohol for consumption off the premises in the form of real ales wines and cordials (in gift packs) from 09.00 - 21.00 (Monday to Sunday inclusive).

It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the variation of a Premises Licence. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
