Notice of confirmation of a Definitive Map Modification Order, Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981. The District of Richmondshire (outside the Yorkshire Dales National Park) Bridleways Nos. 20.10/8 & 20/10/9 Brough with St Giles. Modification Order 2020. On 22/10/21 the above named Order was confirmed. The effect of the confirmed Order is to modify the definitive map & statement for the area by adding the Public Bridleways as follows. Bridleway No 20.10/8 commences at GR SE 2143 9895 & runs east along the line of UUR U7023 for approximately 609 metres to GR SE 2202 9901, then north for approximately 107 metres to a field gate at GR SE 2203 9912, then generally east for approximately 170 metres to a field gate at GR SE 2219 9911, then generally east north-east for approximately 152 metres to a field gate at GR SE 2233 9916, then continuing for approximately 45 metres to GR SE 2238 9917, where it joins bridleway No. 20.10/7. Bridleway No 20.10/9 commences at GR SE 2252 9922 & follows the line of UUR U7023 running generally east north-east for approximately 106 metres to cross the former railway line at GR SE 2262 9926, continuing for approximately 118 metres to a gap at GR SE 2274 9927, then east for approximately 7 metres to GR SE 2275 9927, where it joins the A6055 road. If any person aggrieved by the confirmed Order wishes to question its validity on the ground that it is not within the power of Section 53 of the above-named Act, or that any requirement of Schedule 15 of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, within 42 days of the date of this Notice, make an application to the High Court under Schedule 15(12) to the Act.
