ALDWARK BRIDGE TOLL LLP PROPOSED REVISION OF TOLL CHARGES Public Inquiry to be held as a virtual event

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Local Inquiry will be held by an Inspector appointed for the purpose by lie Secretary of State for Transport and will begin at 10.00am on Monday 25 October 2021. The Inquiry will be held as a virtual event, run by an Inspector in the normal way but with the parties invited to join via Microsoft Teams or telephone.

The Inquiry is being held in relation to the application made by the operator of the Aldwark Bridge Toll LLP pursuant to section 6 of the Transport Charges &c. (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1954 to revise the tolls taken for the use of the bridge.

Anyone wishing to attend the Inquiry and/or at the Inspector's discretion give their views, must make their interest known to the Programme Officer at

as soon as possible prior to the Inquiry. Please make it clear in your response whether you wish only to appear at the Inquiry, make a statement or whether you would also wish to ask questions on topics. Registered participants will receive individual joining instructions, providing details of any requirements, guidance and support, for joining by Teams or telephone.

If you want to take an active part but feel unable to for any reason, and/or the points you want to make are not covered in the evidence of others, please consider whether someone else could raise them on your behalf
