Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, District Of Hambleton, Amendment No 34, Order 2021
Notice is hereby given that on 10/09/21 North Yorkshire County Council made an Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(2), 32(1) & 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 & Part IV of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act & under the Traffic Management Act 2004, the effect of which is to amend "North Yorkshire County Council, Prohibition of Waiting & Loading & Provision of Parking, District of Hambleton, Consolidation Order 2013" by introducing the restrictions specified:- Amendment to Existing Parking & Waiting Restrictions & The Introduction of Prohibition of Motor Vehicles at all Times (Except For Access) - High Street, Northallerton,
i. Revoke existing parking and waiting restrictions.

ii. Amend existing parking and waiting restrictions.
High Street, Northallerton, East of Town Hall, from its kerb line intercept with Friarage Street to 1.5m north of the northern building line of Northallerton Town Hall. Restriction - Parking Spaces - waiting limited to 2 hours 8am - 6pm Monday - Saturday. No return within 1 hour. Charges apply. High Street, Northallerton, East of Town Hall, from its kerb line intercept with Friarage Street to 1.5m north of the northern building line of Northallerton Town Hall. Restriction - Disabled Bay - waiting prohibited at all times. High Street, Northallerton, East of Town Hall, from its kerb line intercept with Friarage Street to 1.5m north of the northern building line of Northallerton Town Hall. Restriction - Taxi Rank - no waiting at any time.

iii. Introduce Prohibition of Motor Vehicles at all Times, except for access.
High Street, Northallerton, East of Town Hall, from 1.5m north of the northern building line of Northallerton Town Hall to the junction with High Street (at pedestrian crossing). Restriction - Prohibition of motor vehicles, except for access.


A copy of the Order, which comes into operation on 01 /10/21, together with a map showing the roads affected may be examined at County Hall, Northallerton during normal office hours from 17/09/21 to 29/10/21 & also viewed online at www.northyorks.gov.uk/roadworks-map & www.northyorks.gov.uk/traffic-regulation-orders. If you wish to question the validity of the above Order or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any Instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks of 10/09/21 make application to the High Court for the purpose.
