CITY OF YORK COUNCIL NOTICE OF PROPOSALS THE YORK TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT (AMENDMENT) (NO 14/101 ORDER 2021
Notice is hereby given that City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, proposes to make an Order which will have the effect of:
Revoking the exemption on vehicles which display a Valid Disabled Person's Badge from proceeding along Blake Street, Castlegate, Church Street, Colliergate, Goodramgate between its junctions with Deangate and King's Square/Low Petergate, Kings Square, Lendal, St Andrewgate from the highway boundary line on the north east side of Colliergate and north east for 50 metres, and St Helen's Square, York during the pedestrian period (10.30am and 5.00pm every day).
THE YORK PARKING. STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT) (NO 14/49) TRAFFIC ORDER 2021 Notice is hereby given that City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, proposes to make an Order which will have the effect of:
1. Introducing Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place in York, as follows:

a) Carmalite Street, on its south east side, between points 28 metres and 43 metres north east from the highway boundary line on the north east side of Garden Place,

b) Deangate, on its north side, between points 22.5 metres and 40.5 metres south west of the projected south western property boundary line of No. 6 Deangate.

c) Duncombe Place, on its south east side, between points 86 metres and 109 metres north east from the north eastern highway boundary line of St Leonard's Place,

d) Dundas Street, on its north side, between points 21 metres and 51 metres north west from the north western kerbline of Black Horse Lane,

e) St Andrewgate, on its north western side:

(i) between points 2 metres and 15.8 metres north east from the projected northern kerbline of Bartle Garth,

(ii) between points 31.5 metres and 38.3 metres north east from the projected centreline of Bartle Garth,

f) St Saviourgate, on its south east side, between points 27 metres and 44 metres north east from the projected centreline of Hungate,

2. Introducing a shared Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place and Loading Bay in Duncombe Place, York between its junction with High Petergte and a point 50 metres south west of the said junction.

3. Introducing 'No Loading' at any time in Aldwark, York on both sides, from the eastern kerbline of Goodramgate east for 30 metres.

A copy of the above draft Orders, Statement of Reasons for making it and relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Objections or other representations specifying reasons for the objection or representation should be sent to me in writing to arrive no later than 6th day of August 2021.
NOTICE OF MAKING THE YORK PARKING. STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT! (NO 14/11) TRAFFIC ORDER 2021 Notice is hereby given that on the 8th day of July 2021 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of:
1. Introducing 'Residents' Priority' parking bay providing unlimited parking for R12 Permit Holders and 10 minutes for Non Permit Holders on the north side of Marygate, between points 63 metres and 69.5 metres north east from the projected centreline of Marygate Lane, thereby revoking the existing Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place from within that length;

2. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Boroughbridge Road access road to properties No. 140a to 154 Boroughbridge Road, York, on its south west side, for the whole length,

3. Revoking the Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place in Falsgrave Crescent, York on its north west side, between a point 1 metre south west of the projected southern property boundary line of No. 19 Falsgrave Crescent and a point 5.5 metre north east of the said line.

4. Formalising existing Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place on the south side of Alma Terrace, York between the respective western property boundary lines of 87 and 89 Alma Terrace;

5. Re-defining 'Residents' Priority' parking area thereby bringing within the R20 (FISHERGATE) zone all the residential properties No. 21 and 22 Kensal Rise;

6. Re-defining the boundary of Zone R30 (East Parade/Layerthorpe) Residents' Priority Parking Area to exclude that area within the property boundary of Garage Workshop, Hawthorn Street (rear of 2-22 Hawthorn Street) which is subject of planned redevelopment for residential purposes thereby removing that area from within the Zone;

7. Re-defining the boundary of Zone R46 (Lawrence Street) Residents' Priority Parking Area to exclude that area within the property boundary of No. 69 Lawrence Street which is subject of planned redevelopment for residential purposes thereby removing that area from within the Zone;

8. Re-defining 'Residents' Priority' parking area thereby bringing within the R56 (Abbey Street) zone the residential property numbered 114 Clifton;

9. Introducing "School-Keep-Clear" prohibition in the access road for Clifton Green Primary School, York, on its north side, from a point 2 metres south east from the south eastern property boundary line of No. 4 Kingsway North south east for 26 metres, so that the prohibition applies between 8.00am to 9.00am and 3.00pm to 4.00pm Monday - Friday within the said lengths;

The Order comes into effect on 10th day of July 2021.
A copy of the Order incorporating relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulation thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date of making of the Order, make application for that purpose to the High Court. THE YORK (SPEED LIMIT) (AMENDMENT! (NO. 14/131 ORDER 2021 NOTICE OF MAKING Notice is hereby given that on the 8th day of July 2021 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Section 82, 83 and 84 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("The Act") and all of the other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of: introducing a 20 miles per hour (mph) speed limit in that length of:
(i) Derwent Mews, Osbaldwick the whole length.

(ii) Derwent Way, Osbaldwick the whole length

(Hi) Metcalfe Lane, Osbaldwick between its junctions with Osbaldwick Village and Foss Islands Cycle route
(iv) Murton Way, Osbaldwick between its junctions with Osbaldwick Lane and Osbaldwick Link Road.

(v) Osbaldwick Lane, Osbaldwick between a point 25 metres east from the projected eastern kerbline Hambleton Avenue and its junction with Murton Way

(vi) Osbaldwick Village, Osbaldwick the whole length

(vii) Tranby Avenue, Osbaldwick the whole length.

(viii) Yew Tree Mews, Osbaldwick the whole length.

thereby revoking the existing statutory 30 mph speed limit from within those lengths. The Order comes into effect on the 10th day of July 2021

CITY OF YORK COUNCIL PROPOSED REVOCATION AND REAPPOINTMENT OF STAND FOR HACKNEY CARRIAGES Notice is hereby given that City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Section 63 Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 proposes to:
Revoke the existing authorised 24 hour Hackney Carriage stand for Horse drawn hackney carriages situate on the south east side of Duncombe Place, York, between points 86 metres and 109 metres north east from the north eastern highway boundary line of St Leonard's Place.
A statement outlining the reasons for making the above proposal together with a map identifying that
proposal can be seen at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours.
Objections or other representations, specifying reasons for the objection or representations should be
sent to me in writing to arrive not later than 6th August 2021.
