CITY OF YORK COUNCIL THE YORK (THE GROVES) (EXPERIMENTAL) (AMENDMENT NO. 20/1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 NOTICE OF MAKING Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of November 2020 City of York Council in exercise of powers under Section 9,10, 32, 35, 35A, 36, 37, 45, 46, 47, 48, 51, 52 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made The York (The Groves) (Experimental) (Amendment No. 20/1) Traffic Order 2020 ("the Order") which comes into effect on the 24th day of November 2020 and amends The York (The Groves) (Experimental) Traffic Order 2020 and the York Traffic Management Order 2014 and The York Parking, Stopping & Waiting Order 2014 (or any replacement thereof) for an experimental period ending on the 1st day of March 2022, proposes to make an Order which will have the effect, of:
A) Introducing a restriction on vehicles, with the exception of pedal cycles, travelling in:

(i) Neville Terrace, between the projected north eastern property boundary line of No. 65 Brownlow Street and the south western property boundary line of 32 Neville Terrace, thereby revoking the restriction on Neville Terrace, at its junction with Brownlow Street;

(ii) St Johns Crescent, between the south western property boundary line of No. 11 St Johns Crescent and a point 1 metre north east of the said line, thereby revoking the restriction on St John's Crescent, between points 30.5 metres and 31.5 metres north east from the centreline of Garden Street.

B) Introduce 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in York, as follows:

(i) Neville Terrace, on its south west side, between points 75 metres and 85 metres south east from the highway boundary line on the south east side of Eldon Street, thereby revoking the residents parking bay from within that length;

(ii) St John's Street, north west side, between 5.5 metres and 8 metres south west from the projected centreline of Garden Street, thereby revoking the residents parking bay from within that length;

(iil) St John's Street, south east side, between 4 metres and 6.5 metres south west from the projected centreline of Garden Street, thereby revoking the residents parking bay from within that length;
C) Revoking the 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in place in St John's Crescent, on its south east side between point 25 metres and 37 metres north east from the projected centreline of Garden Street, thereby reinstating the Residents Parking bay from within that length.

?) Introduce 'Residents' Priority' parking bay providing unlimited parking for R7, R10 and R25 permit holders and 10 minutes for Non Permit holders on the north east side of Park Grove between the respective south eastern property boundary lines of No.'s 74 (terminal point of existing restrictions) and 76 Park Grove, thereby revoking 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions from within that length.
The Council will be considering, In due course, whether the provisions of this Experimental Order should be continued in force indefinitely.
Any person wishing to object to the Indefinite continuation of the Order must state their grounds for objection in writing to Assistant Director of Economy and
Place, West Offices, Station Rise, York, YOl 6GA, so that the objection is received by no later than the 24th day of May 2021.
A copy of the Order, statement of reasons for making it and map showing the lengths of road affected may be inspected at the City of York Council Reception at West Offices, Station Rise, York, YOl 6GA during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that It is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulations thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the commencement date of the Order, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
THE YORK PARKING. STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT) (NO 14/42) TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 NOTICE OF MAKING Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of November 2020 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of:
1. Introducing 'No Waiting at anytime' restrictions in Pasture Farm Close, Fulford on it northern side, between points 13 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 34 metres west of the western highway boundary line of Main Street, Fulford.

2. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in York, as follows:

(a) Clifton Green, on Its north side, the whole length,

(b) Clifton Green, on Its south side;

(i) from Its junction with Clifton to a point 44 metres south east from the projected western property boundary line of No. 11 Clifton Green,

(ii) from its junction with Water End to a point 2 metres south east from the projected western property boundary line of No. 11 Clifton Green,

(c) Longfield Terrace, on its north western side:

(i) between the projected south western property boundary line of No. 19 Longfield Terrace and a point 2 metres north east of the said line;

(ii) between points 30 metres and 37 metres north east from the projected south western property boundary line of No. 19 Longfield Terrace;

(iii) between points 96 metres and 98 metres north east from the projected south western property boundary line of No. 19 Longfield Terrace.

3. Introducing a Residents' Priority Parking Zone (Zone) for all classes of Residents' Priority Permit Holder comprising of Pasture Farm Close, Fulford the said Zone to be identified as Zone 64, that Zone to include all properties adjacent to and having direct private access to the said roads.

4. Designating those existing unrestricted lengths of Pasture Farm Close, Fulford within the proposed Zone described in paragraph 3 as a Residents' Priority Parking Zone for use only by Zone R64 'Permit Holders' thereby providing unlimited parking for Permit Holders, the said lengths being identifiable by the placement of upright traffic signs at the Area 'entry' and 'exit' points (as opposed to the placement of Residents' Parking signs and road markings adjacent to the kerb).

5. Introducing a Residents' Priority Parking Zone (Zone) for all classes of Residents' Priority Permit Holder comprising of Clifton Dale, York, and Clifton Green, on its south side, between points 2 metres and 44 metres south east from the projected western property boundary line of No. 11 Clifton Green the said Zone to be identified as Zone 65, that Zone to include all properties on Clifton Dale, with the exception on No. 1 Clifton Dale, and residential properties numbered 6-14 Clifton Green.

6. Designating those existing unrestricted lengths of Clifton Dale, York within the proposed Zone described in paragraph 5 as a Residents' Priority Parking Zone for use only by Zone R65 'Permit Holders' thereby providing unlimited parking for Permit Holders, the said lengths being identifiable by the placement of upright traffic signs at the Area 'entry' and 'exit' points (as opposed to the placement of Residents' Parking signs and road markings adjacent to the kerb).

7. Introducing 'Residents' Priority' parking bays providing unlimited parking for R65 Permit Holders on the south side of Clifton Green between points 2 metres and 44 metres south east from the projected western property boundary line of No. 11 Clifton Green.

8. Re-defining 'Residents' Priority' parking area thereby bringing within the R33 zone all the residential properties No. 1 to 19 Longfield Terrace.

9. Introducing 'Residents' Priority' parking bays providing unlimited parking for R33 Permit Holders on the north western side of Longfield Terrace:

(a) between points 2 metres and 30 metres north east from the projected south western property boundary line of No. 19 Longfield Terrace;

(b) between points 37 metres and 96 metres north east from the projected south western property boundary line of No. 19 Longfield Terrace. The Order comes into effect on 17th day of November 2020.

A copy of the Order incorporating relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulation thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date of making of the Order, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that City of York Council (the Council), in exercise of powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), made an Order on the 16th day of November 2020 in respect of the location numbered (1). Additionally, the Council, not less than 7 days from the publication of this Notice, intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Act in respect of the location numbered (2).
Ml MURTON FOOTPATH NO. 9. MURTON This Order prohibits pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in that length of public footpath, known as Murton No. 9 (closed road) during the period when bridge maintenance works are being undertaken thereon that period commencing at 0001 hrs on the 21 st day of November 2020 and ending at 2400hrs on the 23rd day of April 2021 or at a time when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. No alternative route for diverted traffic will be available during the works period.
(2) LEEMAN ROAD. YORK
This Order will prohibit vehicles from proceeding in that length of Leeman Road, York between points 10 metres east and 10 metres west of Marble Arch Bridge (closed road) during the period commencing at 2315hrs on the 30th day of November 2020 and ending at 0600hrs on the 30th day of May 2022 (works period) or on a date when delivery vehicles are delivering/removing large machinery to nearby development site have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said delivery works can be carried out safely. It is envisaged that the restriction on vehicles will only be put into effect during an overnight period during the works period.
The above temporary Orders will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/restrictions. 17th November 2020
