ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 THE A64 TRUNK ROAD (WEST HESLERTON) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2020
Highways England Company Limited hereby gives notice that it intends to make an Order under section 84(1 )(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A64 Trunk Road in the District of Ryedale. The effect of the Order, if made, would be to impose a 40mph speed limit on the A64 Trunk Road from 282 metres west of Station Road Junction to 131 metres east of Sand Lane Junction, a distance of 765 metres. A copy of the proposed Order, a plan illustrating the proposal and a statement explaining Highways England Company Limited's reasons for proposing to make this Order may be inspected during office hours at Norton Community Library, 86 Commercial Street, Norton, Malton, Y017 9ES or obtained by application from the office of the Director, Operations Directorate (Yorkshire and North East), Highways England Company Limited, 3rd Floor South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds, LS11 9AT.
Any person wishing to object or make representations to the proposed Order should send a written statement of their objection thereof to the Director at the above address. The objection should quote the above title and must be received not later than Thursday 5 November 2020. Information provided in response to this consultation, including personal information, may be subject to publication or disclosure in accordance with the access to information regimes (these are primarily the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA), the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and the Environmental Information Regulations 2004).
