CITY OF YORK  NOTICE THE YORK PARKING. STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT! (NO 14/30) TRAFFIC ORDER 2020 Notice is hereby given that on the 8th day of October 2020 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of:
1. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in York as follows:

(a) Askham Bar Roundabout access road linking Principal Rise to YorkCraft, on both sides, the whole length,

(b) Barbican Mews, on its:

(i) north side, from the projected eastern property boundary line of No. 32 Barbican Mews north west for the remainder of its length,

(ii) south side, from the projected northern property boundary line of No. 4 Barbican Mews north west for 15 metres and south east for 30 metres,

(c) Burton Stone Lane, on its north side, from the north eastern property boundary line of No 136 Burton Stone Lane south west for 31 metres,

(d) Crosslands Road, on both sides, from the projected eastern kerbline of Grants Avenue east for 10 metres,

(e) Deramore Drive, on its:

(i) south east side, from the projected centreline of Eastfield Crescent north east for 15 metres and south west for 15 metres,

(ii) both sides, from the projected centreline of Vabrugh Drive north east for 15 metres and south west for 15 metres,

(f) Eastfield Crescent, on both sides, from the projected south eastern kerbline of Deramore Drive south east for 12 metres,

(g) Garths End, on both sides, from the projected eastern kerbline Grants Avenue east for 10 metres,

(h) Grants Avenue, on its west side:

(i) from the projected centreline of Garths End north for 10 metres and south for 10 metres,

(ii) from the projected centreline of Crosslands Road north for 10 metres and south for 10 metres,

(iii) between points 6 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 10 metres north from the projected centreline of Endfields Road,

(iv) between points 6 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 10 metres south from the projected centreline of Endfields Road,

(i) Lansdowne Terrace, on its west side, between the southern property boundary line of No. 11 Lansdowne Terrace and the northern property boundary line of 12 Lansdowne Terrace, thereby revoking the existing 'No Waiting 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday' restrictions from within that said length,

(j) Link Road between Granville Terrace and Lansdowne Terrace, on both sides, from the projected western
kerbline of Lansdowne Terrace west for 5 metres (k) Moorcroft Road, on its east side, between points 40 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time'
restrictions) and 14 metres north (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) from the
centreline of Bramble Dene at its most northerly junction with Moorcroft Road, (I) Moorgarth Avenue, on its:
(i) north side, between the projected south western kerbline of Mount Vale Drive to a point 5 metres west from the projected western property boundary line of No. 1 Moorgarth Avenue,

(ii) south side, between the projected south western kerbline of Mount Vale Drive and the projected western property boundary line of No. 1 Moorgarth Avenue

(m) Mount Vale Drive, on its:
(i) south west side, between a point 33 metres south east from the projected south eastern property boundary line of No 1a Mount Vale Drive (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and the projected north western property boundary line of No. 10 Mount Vale Drive,

(ii) north east side, between points 6 metres and 26 metres north west from the projected south eastern property boundary line of No 1a Mount Vale Drive,

(n) Pulleyn Drive, on its north side, from he projected western kerbline of White House Gardens west for 15 metres, (o) Robin Grove, on its:
(i) south west side including the turning head, from a point 10 metres south east from the projected south eastern kerbline of Hamilton Drive and south east for the remainder of its length,

(ii) north east side, from a point 13 metres south east from the projected south eastern kerbline of Hamilton Drive and south east for the remainder of its length,

(p) Stockton Lane, on its south east side,
(i) between points 13 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 19 metres north east from the projected centreline of Whitby Avenue,

(ii) between points 13 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 19 metres south west from the projected centreline of Whitby Avenue,,

(q) Vanbrugh Drive, on both sides, from the projected north western kerbline of Deramore Drive north west for 15 metres, (r) Whitby Avenue, on both sides, between points 10 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time'
restrictions) and 16 metres south east from the projected south eastern kerbline of Stockton Lane, (s) William Plows Avenue, on its east side, between points 2 metres and 30 metres south from the projected
southern property boundary line of No. 16 Belle Vue Terrace,
2. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Clifton Without as follows:

(a) Bransholme Drive, on both sides, between the projected south eastern kerbline of Oakdale Road and the projected south eastern property boundary line of No. 2 Bransholme Drive

(b) llton Garth, on both sides, between the projected north western kerbline of Oakdale Road and the projected north western property boundary line of No. 2 llton Garth,

(c) Oakdale Road, on its:

(i) north west, from the projected northern property boundary line of No 15 Oakdale Road south for 10 metres,

(ii) north west side, from the projected centreline of llton Garth north for 28 metres and south for 20 metres,

(iii) north west side, between points 70 metres and 115 metres north east from the projected centreline of Ebsay Drive,

(iv) both sides, between points 10 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 30 metres north east from the projected centreline of Ebsay Drive,

(v) south east side, from the projected centreline of Bransholme Drive north for 15 metres and south for 15 metres,

3. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Meadowbeck Close, Osbaldwick, on its north side, from the projected northern kerbline of the rear access road to 63-65a Osbaldwick Lane north west for 50 metres,

4. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Shipton Road - service road, Rawcliffe, on its north east side, between points 60 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 64.5 metres north west from the projected north western property boundary line of No 178 Shipton Road;

5. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Strensall as follows:

(a) Riverside Walk, on both sides, from the projected south eastern kerbline of West End endfisouth east for 12 metres,

(b) West End, on its south east side, between points 31 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 52 metres (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) south west from the projected centreline of Wilkinson Way,

(c) Westpit Lane, on both sides, from the projected centreline of Riverside Walk north east for 15 metres and south west for 15 metres,

6. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Wheldrake as follows:

(a) Main Street, on its north side, between the projected western property boundary line of North Back House, 3b Main Street and the projected western property boundary line of No. 5 Main Street,

(b) North Lane, on its:

(i) east side, from the projected northern kerbline of Main Street north for 16 metres,

(ii) west side, from the projected northern kerbline of Main Street north for 17 metres;

7. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in The Village, Wigginton, on its south side, between a point 84 metres east from the projected centreline of Westfield Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and the projected eastern property boundary line of 41 The Village (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);

8. Introducing 'No Waiting from 8am - 6pm Monday to Saturday' restrictions in Burton Stone Lane, York, on its north side, as follows:

(a) between the north eastern property boundary line of No 136 Burton Stone Lane and southern kerbline of Cromer Street,

(b) from the north eastern property boundary line of No 93 Burton Stone Lane north east to a point 31 metres south west from the north eastern property boundary line of No 136 Burton Stone Lane;

9. Introducing 'No Waiting from 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday' restrictions in Grants Avenue, York, on its east side, as follows:

(a) from the projected centreline of Garths End north for 10 metres and south for 10 metres,

(b) from the projected centreline of Crosslands Road north for 10 metres and south for 10 metres,

(c) from the projected centreline of Endfields Road north for 10 metres and south for 10 metres;

10. Introducing 'No Waiting from 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday' restrictions in Oakdale Road, York, on its:

(a) north west side, between points 30 metres and 70 metres north east from the projected centreline of Ebsay Drive,

(b) south east side, between the projected northern property boundary line of No 15 Oakdale and a point 15 metres north from the projected centreline of Bransholme Drive;

11. Introducing a Monday-Sunday Parking Places, providing a limited parking period of 120 minutes with a 60 minutes 'No Return' period, on Burton Stone Lane on its south east side, between points 31 metres south west from the north eastern property boundary line of No 136 Burton Stone Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and the projected south western boundary line of the grounds of St Luke's Church (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);

12. Introducing a 9am - 5pm Monday-Sunday Parking Places, providing a limited parking period of 60 minutes with a 60 minutes 'No Return' period, on Deramore Drive on its south east side, between a point 15 metres south west from the projected centreline of Vanbrugh Drive and a point 15 metres north east from the projected centreline of Eastfield Crescent;

13. Introducing a Monday-Sunday Parking Places, providing a limited parking period of 120 minutes with a 60 minutes 'No Return' period, on Shipton Street, on its south west side, between a point 15 metres south east from the projected eastern kerbline of Burton Stone Lane and the projected centreline of Baker Street;

14. Amending 'Operative Hours' of the prohibition on stopping on "School-Keep-Clear" markings in that length of West End, Strensall, on its:

(a) north west side, from the projected centreline of Wilkinson Way north east for 56 metres and south west for 31 metres,

(b) south east side, between points 17 metres and 56 metres north east from the projected centreline of Wilkinson Way, so that the prohibition applies from 8am to 6pm Monday-Friday thereby revoking the existing 8.15am to 9.30am and 2.15pm to 4.30pm prohibition applying on the said days;

15. Amending the traffic regulations to accurately reflect the 'on street' layout in North Lane, Wheldrake, on its south side as 'No Waiting 8.30am-9.30am and 3pm-4pm Monday-Friday' restrictions;

The Order comes into effect on 12th day of October 2020.
A copy of the Orders incorporating relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulation thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date of making of the Order, Make application for that purpose to the High Court. 9th October 2020
