NOTICE OF

THE YORK PARKING. STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT! (NO 14/401 TRAFFIC ORDER 2019 Notice is hereby given that City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2,4,32,35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, proposes to make an Order which will have the effect of:

1. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in Huntington as follows: Anthea Drive, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 20 metres;



(a) Geldof Road, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 20 metres;



(b) Green Court, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 6 metres;



(c) Hambleton Way, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 15 metres;



(d) Heathside, on both sides, from the projected eastern kerbline of New Lane east for 10 metres;



(e) Highthorn, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 20 metres;



(f) Kendrew Close, on both sides, from the projected western kerbline of New Lane west for 15 metres;



(h) New Lane, on its:

(i) both sides, from the projected southern kerbline of North Moor Road south for 25 metres;



(ii) east side, between points 10 metres north and 10 metres south from the projected centreline of Heath Side;



(iii) both sides, between points 20 metres north and 20 metres south from the projected centreline of Hambleton Way;



(iv) west side, between points 15 metres north and 15 metres south from the projected centreline of Kendrew Close;



(v) east side, between a point 22 metres south from the projected southern property boundary line of No. 150 New Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and a point 56 metres north from the projected northern property boundary line of No. 172 New Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);



(vi) west side, between a point 22 metres south from the projected southern property boundary line of No. 150 New Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and a point 31.5 metres north of the projected centreline of Huntington Cemetery access road;



(vii) east side, from the projected northern property boundary line of No. 172 New Lane south to a point 10 metres south of the projected centre line of Geldof Road;



(viii) east side, between points 13.5 metres north and 13.5 metres south of the projected centreline of Huntington Cemetery access road;



(ix) east side, from a point 31.5 metres south of the projected centreline of Huntington Cemetery access road and a point 10 metres south of the projected centre line of Geldof Road;



(i) North Moor Road, on its south side, from the projected centreline of The Old Village to a point 40 metres east of the said line;

(j) Huntington Road, on its south side, from the projected centreline of The Old Village to a point 25 metres west of the said line;

2. Introducing 'No Waiting from 12Noon - 8pm Saturday and Sunday' restrictions in Huntington as follows:



(a) New Lane on its:

(i) west side, between points 20 metres south from the projected centreline of Hambleton Way and 15 metres north from the projected centreline of Kendrew Close;

PROPOSALS

(ii) east side, between a point 20 metres south from the projected centreline of Hambleton Way and the projected southern property boundary line of No. 96 New Lane;



(iii) west side, between points 15 metres south from the projected centreline of Kendrew Close and 15 metres north from the projected centreline of Willow Glade (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);



(iv) east side, from the projected northern property boundary line of No. 108 New Lane to a point 22 metres north from the projected southern property boundary line of No. 150 New Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);



(v) west side, between points 15 metres south from the projected centreline of Willow Glade (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 15 metres north from the projected centreline of Priory Wood Way (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);



(vi) west side, between points 15 metres south from the projected centreline of Priory Wood Way (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 22 metres north from the projected southern property boundary line of No. 150 New Lane (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions);



(b) New Lane Access Road to Properties No. 242 to 260, on both side including turning head, the whole length;

3. Introducing 24 hour Monday-Sunday Parking Places, providing a limited parking period of 60 minutes with a 60 minutes 'No Return' period in New Lane, Huntington, on its east side:



(a) between points 13.5 metres and 31.5 metres north of the projected centreline of Huntington Cemetery access road;



(b) between points 13.5 metres and 31.5 metres south of the projected centreline of Huntington Cemetery access road;



4. Introducing a Clearway on New Lane, Huntington between a point 10 metres south of the projected centre line of Geldof Road and the projected northern kerbline of Malton Road.



A copy of the draft Order, Statement of Reasons for making it and relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Objections or other representations specifying reasons for the objection or representation should be sent to me in writing to arrive no later than 15th November 2019.

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS Notice is hereby given that City of York Council (the Council), in exercise of powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), made an Order on the 24th day of October 2019 in respect of the location numbered (1).

(1) SCOTT STREET. YORK

This Order prohibits vehicles from proceeding and waiting in Scott Street, York between its junction with Southlands road and the projected southern property boundary line of No. 72 Scott Street (closed road) during the period when water works being undertaken thereon, that period commencing at 0001 hrs and ending at 2400hrs on the 29th day of October 2019 or at a time when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be signed during the works period. The above temporary Order will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/restrictions.
