SMITH June Rose 06.06.39 23.01.22 Brian, James, Helen and Catherine would like to thank all relatives, neighbours and friends for their support and messages of condolences in these sad times. Thanks also to Faye Quin and the team at Co-operative Funeralcare for their efficient and caring way of handling all the funeral arrangements, also, specially to celebrant, Fiona Brown for her kind, considerate and brilliant presentation at York Crematorium on 15th February and to The Marcia, Bishopthorpe for their fine after ceremony support. Further thanks to Macmillan Nurses (for whom the collection raised £330.00), staff at York District Hospital (Ward 24) and all at The Chocolate Works Care Village who made June's last few weeks so pleasant and so peaceful. Final thanks to Johnny Ollis (Specsavers) who went out of his way one Saturday morning to visit The Chocolate Works and changed failed components in June's hearing aid which we are told 'brought a smile to her eyes' at at last being able to hear properly again and until the end.
