EADY Thomas Melvin The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks for the many cards and messages of sympathy received during their recent sad bereavement. Very special thanks to the Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses in A&E and Ward 36 at York District Hospital for the excellent care given to Melvin during his sudden illness and support to family during his palliative care. Many thanks also to the numerous NHS staff who have treated and cared for Melvin over his latter years and his immediate neighbours for looking out for him allowing him his independence until his final days. Thanks to Paul and Martin at A. Grundy Funeral Directors for their efficient funeral arrangements, Lisa's florists for the floral tributes, Julianne Page for the comforting ceremony and City of York Crematorium, all operating under today's difficult circumstances. To family and friends unable to attend the funeral, a big thank you for your understanding. A celebration of Melvin's life will be announced at a later date.
