MAWHOOD Rita (nee Shepherdson) The family of the late Rita, wish to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness following our sad loss. We offer our heartfelt thanks to neighbours, friends and well wishers who attended the service and cremation and provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. To those who sent cards and messages of condolence as well as those who made charitable donations we are truly grateful. A special word of thanks to the doctors and nurses of the ICU at York Hospital for their kindness, compassion and respect shown to Rita and family at all times, to Jon Kirkman of J. G. Fielder & Son for his professional handling of the arrangements and Robert Livesey for arranging the order of service and reading the verses, to Fulford Flowers for the beautiful flower arrangements and The Marcia, Bishopthorpe for the lovely catering. It would be difficult to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement of our sincere gratitude. The collection for The British Heart Foundation raised £450. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
