David & family,
I so hope that this message reaches you .....
I am truly saddened to hear that we have lost your Mum. The world will be a gloomier place without her. Joyce trained me as a market research interviewer almost 30 years ago and she became a much respected colleague and friend since then. Most recently meeting for lunch in York in 2013 in my final year at the Northern College of Acupuncture. We spent many hours chatting over the years, firstly discussing work and then catching up on our family news, always accompanied by the very loud chiming of your Dad's clock warning us we'd been on the phone too long! I had noticed that our Christmas cards didn't exchange in the last couple of years.
I hope you and all the family are coping without her, she must have left a huge hole in your lives.
