BOORMAN Rena Rena died peacefully, after a long illness on 15th June, three days before her 86th birthday. She is survived by Derek, her husband of 68 years, her children Michael, Fiona, Mandy and Tony, her six grandchildren and her eight great-grandchildren. Her many interests and her involvement over the years in, for example, Red Cross, York and District Tennis and Art and her devotion to her family means that she will be well remembered by a large circle of friends and family. Her funeral service will be held at St. Nicholas Church, Dunnington on Wednesday 13th July at 11.45am, followed by a private family committal at York Crematorium.
