ORPE Joan Passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on 6th October. Loving wife of the late Sydney Orpe. Loving mother of Michelle, Julie and Barry, also mother-in-law to Gary, Mark and Dianne. Devoted grandma to Louis, Rowena, Melissa, Jordan, Billy and George, and a devoted great-grandma to Rupert, Jasper, Teanna and Owen. Funeral service to be held at St. Thomas with St. Maurice Church, Lowther Street, York on Friday 22nd October at 1.15pm, followed by internment at Fulford Cemetery. Joan has requested that no black is to be worn and for family flowers only. Donations in memory of Joan's late husband Syd, at her request, for the benefit of Parkinson's UK York branch; a plate will be provided at the service.
