HUGHES David On July 11th, aged 94 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Doreen, dear dad of Pat, David, Gillian, Alan, Susan and the late Doran, and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Funeral service will take place at St Stephen's Church, Acomb on Thursday 5th August 5th, at 2pm followed by a private interment. Family flowers only please, donations may be given to St Leonard's Hospice and Martin House Children's Hospice, a donation box will be provided at the service. Condolences to the Hughes family. We had the pleasure of meeting David on the occasion of the marriage of his grandson to our daughter. He lived a long life at his home, surrounded by his family. May your memories give you solace.
