ELLIS Alwyn (Bob) On September 1st, aged 92 years, passed away in York Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Edna, dearly loved dad of David Snr and David Jnr, John and Karen, also much loved grandad and great-grandad and friend to many. A private funeral will take place at York Crematorium followed by a memorial service as soon as circumstances permit. Bob's funeral cortege will be leaving his home on Tuesday September 22nd, at 11.10am. We used to live in the same street as Bob and Edna and spent many a happy time in The Jube with Bob and other friends on a Friday night. He was such a well loved member of the Leeman Road community and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Always a cheeky chappy with a heart of gold.
