WELCH John Born October 20th, 1929, died peacefully on January 21st, 2020 in Los Angeles. He was the much loved partner of Ray and friend to many. Originally from York, he taught at Nunthorpe Grammar School and was a long term member of the York Gilbert and Sullivan Society and York Operatic Society. He spent 20 happy years teaching and running the student's Foreign Exchange program at Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles.
