HORTON David Anthony MBE (Former Lord Mayor of York) Passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 10th at home surrounded by close family. Loving husband of Jane, dearly loved dad of Kathleen and Derek also father-in-law of Mal and Vicky, loved granddad to Joseph, Hannah, Alex and Harriet and stepgranddaughter Louise, loved very much by stepdaughter Rebecca and stepson Ben and Richard and grandchildren Sam and Maya. Will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. Service to be held at Copmanthorpe Methodist Church Tuesday, September 3rd at 1:30 followed by the committal at York Crematorium 3.40pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to York against Cancer.
