THORNTON Ron ( Ronald ) On June 4th aged 86 years, peacefully surrounded by family and laughter. Devoted husband to the late Margaret, one in a million dad to Sharon and Carina, proud father-in-law to Steve, best ever grandad to Cameron, Callum and partner Demi, Corey, Carlene, Sam, Dan and partner Nadiya and great-grandad to Matilda. Funeral Service to be held at York Crematorium on Wednesday, June 19th at 11am. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to The British Heart Foundation. All enquiries to J.G.
