BURGIN Barbara Anne (nee Newsome) Died suddenly but peacefully at home on May 18th, 2019 aged 58. Loved and loving daughter of Michael and Patricia (Paddy), much loved partner to Gerry, sister of Ian and auntie to Fiona and Alex. Funeral service will be held at York Crematorium on Wednesday June 19th at 11.40am. Family flowers only, donations may be given to Age UK, a plate will be available at the service. Bright colours to be worn.

Sending my love to Michael, Paddy & Ian who were very much part of my childhood.... Barbara was a great school friend, along with Lois & Denise, we got up to all sorts but always with lots of giggling and laughs! She has left everyone, far too young, but she’ll not be forgotten. Love Helen 💕

I am very sorry to hear this news. Barbara was a lovely neighbour for several years.
