EVANS Irene (nee Moate) Sadly on October 7th, Irene after a long illness passed away peacefully aged 91 years, with her loving daughter by her side. Devoted wife of 65 years to the late George, and cherished mum to Michael, Robert and Christine, also loved mother-in-law, sister, aunt and friend. Irene bore her illness with such dignity and fought to the end, so sadly missed by all. Funeral service to be held at York Crematorium on Tuesday, October 23rd, at 10.00am, donations gratefully received for York Hospital Dementia Appeal.
