BENNETT Michael Sutherland (Mike) On March 16th, peacefully at home, aged 55 years. Beloved husband of Janet, devoted dad to George and Sam, much loved brother of Judith and dear friend to many. Funeral ceremony to be held on Monday, March 24th, at 11.00 a.m., at York Cemetery Chapel. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK and the MS Society.

Very sad to hear this although I have known for some time that Mike was ill. We have been friends for nearly 30 years and were in a band together, the infamous Plainsmen. Good Times always remembered. Mike gave much enjoyment to so many people through his many projects and will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

So saddened to hear this news of Mike's death.
I was good friends with Mike in the 1980's when I lived in York. Sending love to all his family and friends at this sad time.

I am very saddened to read of Mike's passing. I knew Mike many years ago, but hadn't seen him for almost 9 years. My thoughts are with his family, particularly his wife, and young children.
