BROOK Mary P. (nee Hicks) Mary Penelope, passed away peacefully, in York Hospital, on Thursday, June 13th, 2013, aged 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold and a much loved mother of Diana and mother-in-law of Vince, cherished grandmother of Sarah and Kate, great-grandmother of Joshua, Emma and Lily, loved sister to Kit, a special friend to many, including everyone at Field Court. Funeral service to take place at Holy Trinity Church, Heworth, on Monday, June 24th, at 2.00pm., followed by a private cremation at York Crematorium. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu will be gratefully received for the Royal National Institute of Blind People, a plate will be available at the service.
