Rita Pottage (nee Lawn)

POTTAGE Rita (nee Lawn) December 11th 1945 - April 26th 2013 My Dearest Rita The 15th of October means so much to me, it's the first day we met and I knew we were meant to be. Your eyes were so gentle, your smile so true, when we first held hands it was then I just knew. Now time has gone by, through laughter and tears, those days I will cherish for years upon years. Those memories we had shall never fade, for those were the steps that we had made. New homes and laughter with dreams so dear, everything was wonderful when you were near. Our meeting was a gift, our friendship our prize, the love we gained an immeasurable surprise. Each day we grew closer with honesty so dear, you owned the key to my heart, this I'll never fear. I loved you so deeply, I loved you so much, I loved the sound of your voice and the way that we touched. I loved your warm smile and your kind thoughtful way, the joy that you brought to my life each day. I love you today as I did from the start and I'll love you forever with all of my heart. With your hand held in mine, both our hearts would entwine. All I ever wanted was to be part of your heart and for us to be together and never apart. We had so much more than I thought we would and I loved you more than I thought I could. In your eyes I saw our present, our future and past, from the look in your eyes I knew it would last. Into our lives fell pain and sorrows, as we promised together to meet our tomorrows. How perfect you were through my eyes. Thank you my dearest Rita for those wonderful 22 years beside you. May God Bless and keep you in eternal happiness. With all my heart from your loving partner, John.
