Billie Piper has no plans to head over to Hollywood - for the time-being.

The Dr Who actress has pondered the idea of moving Stateside to pursue more acting opportunities, but has vetoed it for now because of her two-year-old son Winston.

"I keep thinking about it, but then I like England," she said. "To be out there with a baby and to do seven, eight auditions a day is just not massively appealing at the moment."

Billie, who reprises her role as escort Belle for the fourth series of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl, said this would be the last series.

"I think we've pretty much been everywhere with the stories and as that's at the heart of every episode, you wouldn't want to exhaust it to the point of just complete ridiculousness and seediness," she continued.

"I really like this job but you always want the story to have legs and not be that you're scraping the bottom of the barrel. I think if we go any further then we might be guilty of that."

The 28-year-old is looking forward to more exciting projects post-Belle.

"I just want to do something radically different and I don't know what that is yet. I think I've just chosen things that have interested me and then kept trying new and different things," she said.

"It has worked out well and I can thank Doctor Who for all of that really. It was wholly responsible for giving me a great opportunity."

:: The fourth series of Secret Diary Of A Call Girl begins on February 1 on ITV2.
