'No new Britney music in pipeline '

Britney Spears will not be releasing new music any time soon, her manager has announced.

It had been rumoured that the pop star has some new tracks on the go following a Ustream broadcast by producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins, where he said: "Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks."

But the starlet's manager Adam Leber cleared up the speculation via his Twitter account, writing: "No new music news right now - wish people wouldn't mislead you guys with BS info."

"Not cool! Ps - the guys that ARE working on Brit's next album ARE NOT talking about it," he added.

Rodney's spokesperson told MTV.com that any conclusions fans made regarding new music from Britney as a result of his comment were incorrect.

Britney, who last released an album in 2008, recently posted artwork for her new perfume, Radiance, on her Twitter page.

"Just got the imaging for my new fragrance Radiance and thought I'd share it with all my tweethearts," she wrote.
