Business owner Ruth Perrott explains that the original name of Ruth Perrott Community Optometrist did not readily explain the main business aims and so the new name of VisionCare Optometry has been in use since early April 2012.

It is located at St Margaret's Parish Church Hall where there is a waiting room for parents, although parents are also welcome to leave their children and pick them up at the end of the study session, which is normally 30 minutes per subject.
