Guide line
Guide-Line is a telephone helpline offering information and support to those in mental and emotional distress, family members, carers and professionals. We support people on an on-going basis as well as those in crisis.
Our service is confidential and we are open every day including weekends and bank holidays from 12 noon to 9 pm. Our number is 01274 594 594. Please leave a message if you can��?t get through and we will ring you back.
If you are interested in volunteering at Guide-Line please act soon! It can be difficult to get references later in the summer, especially from academic staff. We are recruiting now to start the training at the end of September. Contact Alison on 01274 531043, or leave a message.
Guide-Line email service
Many people are not comfortable talking face to face or on the phone about their mental or emotional distress. Our new email service will give you an opportunity to access support and information in privacy and safety.
We intend to provide a quality service that is as useful and effective as our Guide-Line telephone helpline service has proved to be for its service users.
Drop - In
The Drop-In offers a range of activities which include men only and women only sessions. There is a computer room and other facilities, meals and refreshments.
Trips out are organised to places of interest.

please check the opening times and venue first. There will be staff and volunteers available then to chat to and answer your queries.
