THE GALTRES LODGE HOTEL is a Georgian brick building, with central heating throughout, sympathetically restored in such a way as to retain the warmth and character of the original house.
There are twelve bedrooms, comprising single, double and twin bedded accomodation and some rooms open onto a view of the famous Rose Window of the Minster.
All rooms are serviced daily. Please note the hotel is now totally non-smoking.
Galtres Lodge is the only hotel to be situated in the centre of York with all major attractions only a moments stroll away with the Minster literally just around the corner.
The hotel is licenced and everything from a quick snack to a full three course meal available throughout the day.
Within the hotel is our restaurant, Michaels Brasserie, which prides itself on its innovative menu.
