Fully trained voluntary guides take you back to Roman York around the medival walls and ancient streets.

The tour includes the Roman Multangular Tower, St Mary's Abbey, Kings Manor, Bootham Bar, York Minster, Treasurers House, Monk Bar, St William's College, Trinity Church, The Shambles and Saint Margaret Clitherow's Shrine.

Open: November to the end of March 10.15am. April, May, September and October 10.15am and 2.15pm.

June, July and August 10.15am, 2.15pm and 6.45pm
