Joseph Rowntree Theatre
The Joseph Rowntree Theatre is a volunteer run theatre near the centre of York, which provides a venue for amateur and professional theatre, dance, music and other stage based events.
The theatre was originally built as a facility for the staff of the Rowntree's factory, however in 2001 the theatre came under the management of a management board, with all the staff being volunteers.
