TICKETS for York City's crucial Conference clash with Oxford United on Saturday are selling fast.

Minstermen officials are expecting a 5,000-plus crowd for the all-ticket match with 3,500 already gone for the home end and visitors Oxford having sold 600.

KitKat Crescent's Family Stand and section B' of the Main Stand have now sold out and supporters are urged to buy their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

With a point sufficient to secure a play-off place, City have also released ticket arrangements for a potential semi-final tie.

Tickets for a home leg match would go on sale to season-ticket holders from 10am on Sunday with the ticket office open until 4pm.

The ticket office would also be open from 9am to 9pm on Monday before tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday when opening hours will be 9am to 6pm.

Any remaining tickets will then be available next Wednesday (9am-7pm) and Thursday (9am-9pm) and sales would then end if the game is all-ticket which will depend on the opposition.

If it is not, tickets would be available until an 8pm kick-off if City are at home for the first-leg games next Friday.

Should Billy McEwan's men finish third in the table they would play their second leg at home and that would take place on the following Monday or Tuesday with the ticket office likely to be open over the weekend.
