THE Knights’ kit suppliers for 2014 to 2016 will be Fi-Ta sportswear. The Sydney-based company are producing the new home and away kits, plus a range of leisurewear.

The away kit design, based on York’s classic pre-Knights colours of amber and black, as previously revealed in this column, is pictured.

The shirt will have the names of supporters sublimated into the design. Those names will be of the first 100 fans who, from its launch up until an August 16 deadline, donate £30 to the squad builder fund. Phone 01904 767404 for details.

A one-off amber and black heritage shirt will also be used in a fortnight’s time when the Knights host Hunslet in a key league match.

Simon Hall, of the Knights Independent Supporters Society, said of the shirts: “After talking to the club it was clear that we all wanted to create something unique for the fans and something to embrace the history of York RL. At the same time this gives us a great opportunity to raise funds for squad builder.”

Meanwhile, the Knights have confirmed that Pryer’s solicitors will again be the club’s main sponsor for 2014.

RKS Roofing Contractors and Monk Bar Model shop are also continuing their support.
