FIRST-TEAM wannabes will stake claims for call-ups when York City Knights reserves host their Dewsbury Rams counterparts in a pre-season friendly on Thursday (8pm).
A few places for Sunday’s home Championship One match against South Wales may be up for grabs after the defeat to Workington.
Admission will be £4 for adults, £1 for under-16s, and the ground can be accessed via Bar 13.
Meanwhile, Danny Allan, a former junior with Heworth and New Earswick, has gone on loan from Featherstone to Championship One side Doncaster.
