YORK City Knights staged a second half comeback but it wasn't enough as they went down 32-22 at Workington in Championship One.
The Knights trailed 30-6 at half-time at Derwent Park, but they were unable to claw back the deficit.
The visitors' try scorers were Danny Ratcliffe, Lee Waterman and Joe McLocklan, while Waterman added three goals.
